CONTACTING US AND PLACING ORDERS:

  • Customer service hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. EST and Saturday, 7:00 A.M. - Noon. We are closed on Saturdays in June, July and August.
  • Orders can be placed by phone, fax, mail or on-line at our website.

FREE SHIPPING PROGRAM:

  • Shipping charges for qualifying orders will be paid by Apex Gift Foods.
  • Following is the minimum order value needed to qualify for free shipping on gourmet food products to each UPS zone.
    Zone 2 $400
    Zone 3 $500
    Zone 4 $1000
    Zone 5 $1250
    Zone 6 $1600
    Zone 7 & 8 $2400
  • Only gourmet food items, with the exception of bottled items, apply to this free shipping program.
  • Customers will be responsible for shipping charges for bottled items and for non-gourmet products (e.g. shredded fillers, baskets, shrink wrap, etc.)
  • Please refer to the chart below or call customer service to determine your shipping zone and order value needed to qualify for free shipping.
  • Additional charges from DHL,UPS or other freight company charges (e.g. residential delivery charges, fuel surcharges) are not covered by the free shipping program and will be added to the customer's invoice.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

  • Orders are shipped via UPS Ground, DHL Ground or commmon carrier within the continental United States (for orders over 500#). You must provide a full street address for UPS and DHL shipments. UPS and DHL will not ship to P.O. boxes.
  • Next day, second day and third day services are available. To request these services, orders must be placed by 11:00am EST for same day shipment. Freight charges for these services must be approved in writing via fax by 2:00pm EST before the order will be shipped.
  • Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada are available via US Mail, UPS, DHL, or Federal Express.
  • Most orders are shipped within 48 hours of receipt. Please allow 2 - 5 business days for delivery, depending upon the shipping zone. Ready-made gift baskets are made to order and required a longer lead time for shipping.
  • Baskets and bottled items cannot be shipped via: US Mail.
  • Spa products and ready-made gift baskets will be shipped from a separate warehouses and are shipped F.O.B. those warehouse locations.
  • Chocolates are not shipped during warm weather months, but packing insulation for other temperature sensitive products is available upon request. A $10 charge will be added to your invoice for each box that needs this type of special packaging.


PAYMENT METHODS:

  • We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS AND DISCOVER.
  • Net 30 day terms will be extended to approved customers. Please allow 3-6 weeks for processing credit applications.
  • For customers without credit terms who prefer not to use a credit card, orders may be shipped C.O.D. All C.O.D. orders must be prepaid. If prepaid by money order, the order will be shipped as soon as the money order is received. If prepaid by check, the order will be held until funds are confirmed.
  • Past due balances are subject to finance charges at the rate of 1.5% per month.
  • There will be a $20.00 charge for returned checks.


BACKORDERS:

  • We will attempt to contact you if any item is unavailable at the time your order is ready to ship.
  • When backordered items become available, they will automatically be shipped unless you have requested no backorders.
  • Backorders for C.O.D. customers will automatically be cancelled unless otherwise instructed by the customer. The customer will then be responsible for C.O.D. charges when backorders are shipped.


RETURNS AND CLAIMS:

  • Customer satisfaction is important to us. Items that need to be returned for any reason must be reported to Apex Customer Service within 7 days of receipt.
  • Once a return has been approved, authorization and shipping labels will be mailed. Returns must be made within 30 days.
  • Customers may be asked to hold damaged product and/or shipping cartons for inspection.
  • Please count your cartons before signing. The carrier is only responsible for the number of cartons for which you sign.


MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:

  • Special orders: Allow 2 weeks for delivery.
  • Prices subject to change without notice.
  • Not responsible for typographical errors or misprints.
  • Products subject to availability.
  • All food products must be ordered in case quantities. We do not split cases.


SAMPLE ORDERS:

  • Customers may order up to 20 items for sampling and will be charged for the samples and shipping costs.
  • Only 1 sample may be requested per item. Customers will also be charged a handling fee which is refundable when the next order is placed. For 1-10 samples, the handling fee is $5.00, for 11-20 samples the fee is $10.00.
  • Sample orders may take up to two weeks to process. Any back orders on sample orders will be automatically cancelled.


KOSHER ITEMS:

  • "K" after an item number indicates "Kosher". We have identified certain items that are kosher from information supplied by our vendors. We cannot guarantee the total accuracy of individual characteristics of these items.
